On Saturday, May 2, 2015 we arrived at the port of Zeebrugge, Belgium just outside of the town of Burgge, or Bruge, depending on your nationality. We elected to get the ship tour that consisted of just a bus ride into the town of Burgge which is about 10 miles from the dock. We had about 4 hours to explore the town and have a bite to eat.
Brugge is a beautiful and colorful town with lots of small shops, flowers, and minimal traffic. They are best know for their chocolate, which is something someone all of you know considers chocolate as a vegetable and a good daily requirement.... This is also where Roger had his first good beer, a nice dark but tasty brew, and something he also considers an essential drink!
