We arrived in Lucerne around noon on Friday, May 15th to a wet Seattle (not Sequim) weather day ;-). WE took a walking tour that took us through the old part of town and while very enjoyable we ended being two drowned rats... It was obvious that the rain gear we brought was not suitable for Seattle type rain. Next stop when we get home is to go to REI or Columbia and get some good outdoor clothing.

We learned that to order Pepperoni pizza you order salami, otherwise you will get a cheese pizza with some cold pepperoni on top. This was excellent.

Dinner with Dave and Linda, friends from the cruise. We had a cheese fondue and sausage that was excellent.
Tomorrow we are hoping for better weather so we can go up to one of the local mountain trips.
